Privacy policy
This is the private policy statement of Commodore Corporation B.V (“Commodore”), a private limited liability company construed under the laws of The Netherlands and with its offices in (4704 RK) Roosendaal, The Netherlands, at Belder 30a. Commodore is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 83289348.
Under the European General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), Commodore is qualifying as a controller when processing personal data which is received from you, either as user of this website of Commodore or by other means.
By accessing and using this website, Commodore may collect personal data from you, including certain private details (such as your e-mail address) and technical information about your browsing details (such as your IP address). You may also provide us with other personal data by other means. Commodore is only using your personal data on the basis of the following grounds and for the following purposes:
- The processing of your personal data is necessary for complying with certain legal obligations, including the obligations of Commodore to keep books and records, determining the identity of its licensees and other business partners, and for informing its (potential) licensees and other business partners about new developments, products or services of Commodore. Furthermore, the processing is necessary for the conclusion and performance of agreements. Commodore requires your personal data for informing you about matters relating to agreements with you, if any, and in order to be able to respond to you in case of complaints, claims or litigation;
- In the event that you have given personal data to Commodore for processing it in relation to a question or request for information, your personal data is also used for providing you with an answer or the requested information.
Your personal data may be stored in our books and records, which may also be accessed by our shareholders, directors, employees, accountants and advisors. Commodore hereby confirms that confidentiality agreements have been concluded with those persons are authorized to access the books and records of Commodore and whom may be considered to be processors of your personal data under the GDPR. Commodore ensures that those persons are obliged to act in accordance with the GDPR.
Commodore may store your personal data for as long as necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was obtained, or as long as required by law. In this respect it shall be noted that Commodore is obliged to keep its books and records for a period of at least 7 years whilst certain legal claims can be submitted against Commodore during a period of maximum of 20 years, under Dutch law. You may request Commodore to have deleted your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.
Under the GDPR, you are also entitled to request Commodore whether or not your personal data is being processed by Commodore and, to the extent permitted under the GDPR, to obtain: i) a rectification of inaccurate personal data which is received from you; ii) the erasure of your personal data; and iii) a restriction of processing your personal data. You have the right to receive the personal data that Commodore has stored from you, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit those data to another controller, without hindrance from Commodore to the extent permitted by the GDPR. Furthermore, you have the right to not to be subject to automated individual decision making, including profiling. However, Commodore does not make use of automated individual decision making in any of its processes.

Commodore reserves the rights to modify its privacy policy statement unilaterally. This statement shall be automatically replaced by the new one in the event of a modification. Therefore, you are requested to review the privacy policy statement of Commodore on a regular basis.
